Santa
Well we did it - after 2 1/2 days - we photographed almost 100 children. The very last child was an 8 day old newborn. It was exhausting and days that my staff and I will treasure for a lifetime. As we worked until 1am last night trying to get images up - each of us at a computer - we commented and laughed and enjoyed every single photo. Some were so priceless that we just knew - even at midnight - why we do what we do. We all chatted about how some of children were just so scared while others were so star struck they were shaking. As I tucked my own 3 year old in bed the night of her Santa visit, she told me just how happy she was that Santa read to her and it was just so great that she wanted to know if Jesus could stop by too. Wouldn’t that be so great?!?! To be in the eyes of a child is something so special that words can not describe it. So to all the parents out there that come back year after year as their children grow to share the magic of Christmas at our studio - we thank you! To every parent on the planet - spend this day realizing how lucky you are to have children that were born into this world from you! It is a blessing that can not be forgotten - no matter how tired we are!
